I tailor each student's lessons individually offering assistance on what inspires them but also add in relevant theory and practical advice as much as possible. I can and do also teach up to grade 8 with the RGT syllabus, DBS checked. Also I think learning songs from start to finish is very important. Playing guitar must always be fun, learning must always be fun and I try to make that a priority. Most of my pupils do not want exams and want lessons on what excites them musically to achieve what they want to play, what they have heard and what they aspire to play but I also think the exams are very valuable!
